LE PROBLÈME
Remplacer un processus manuel et sujet aux erreurs
The SCRA needed to modernize and automate the tracking of Cameroon’s legislative process, parliamentary activity, and the work of the Economic and Social Council (CES). The existing manual system was error-prone, inefficient, and difficult to manage, especially given the complexity of a bicameral parliament and the CES.

I was the sole architect and builder of this platform, from the initial design of the system architecture to the full implementation. It was my first real-world software architecture solution, combining multiple services and technologies to meet the needs of a public-sector institution.

Go à la passerelle pour le routage à faible latence, Django pour le développement rapide de la logique relationnelle complexe (parlement bicaméral + CES), FastAPI séparé pour les travaux d'analyse de données lourdes, Supabase gérant la couche de sécurité tandis que Django gère les rôles.

Choice of Go for the API gateway for low latency routing

Défis
Designing a system that could handle the complexity of a bicameral parliament and the CES, while ensuring security, performance and maintainability, was a significant challenge, especially as a first real-world project.
Résultat
The platform is now live and in use by the SCRA, providing a modern, reliable and efficient way to track legislative processes, parliamentary activities and CES work.
